Directory Cleanup
MediumShell Scripting20-30 minThe brief
A workspace at /root/workspace is cluttered with temporary *.tmp files. Write a cleanup that deletes all the .tmp junk while leaving the real files (like keep.dat) untouched. Over-deleting is a failure, not a shortcut.
What you'll do
- Delete every *.tmp file in /root/workspace
- Leave the non-tmp files intact
Hands-on lab: you work on a real Linux box in your browser, graded on the machine's actual state.
