The brief

Automate a backup. There is data under /root/data. Write a script that produces a gzip-compressed tar archive of it at /root/backups/data.tar.gz. Grading runs your approach and inspects the archive it creates.

What you'll do

Create /root/backups
Produce a valid gzip tar of /root/data at /root/backups/data.tar.gz

Hands-on lab: you work on a real Linux box in your browser, graded on the machine's actual state.
