The brief

The deploy automation needs passwordless SSH as the 'deploy' user. Generate an SSH keypair and install the public key into /home/deploy/.ssh/authorized_keys with correct ownership and permissions so key-based login works.

What you'll do
  • Generate an SSH keypair
  • Install the public key in /home/deploy/.ssh/authorized_keys
  • Set correct ownership (deploy) and permissions (700 dir, 600 file)

Hands-on lab: you work on a real Linux box in your browser, graded on the machine's actual state.
