DNS Fix
EasyNetworking15-20 minThe brief
Applications on this host can't resolve internal hostnames. The internal DNS server is 10.0.0.53, but the resolver isn't configured to use it. Add it to /etc/resolv.conf, and add a direct /etc/hosts entry for the critical host db.internal (10.0.0.25) as a fallback. Grading inspects the resolver configuration.
What you'll do
- Add nameserver 10.0.0.53 to /etc/resolv.conf
- Add a hosts entry mapping db.internal to 10.0.0.25
Hands-on lab: you work on a real Linux box in your browser, graded on the machine's actual state.
