Dojo: Lowercase Every Name

EasyOne-Liner Dojo5 min

The brief

The file /root/names.txt holds usernames in inconsistent case (Alice, BOB, Carol...). In ONE line, write them all lowercased to /root/answer.txt, one per line, in the same order.

This is a pure character transform — no fields, no patterns. Pick the lightest tool for the job (a bulldozer like sed or awk is overkill here).

What you'll do

Write every name from /root/names.txt lowercased to /root/answer.txt, in one line

Hands-on lab: you work on a real Linux box in your browser, graded on the machine's actual state.
