Dockerfile: Identify the Base Image
EasyDevOps10-15 minThe brief
Your team is containerizing a Node.js app. A Dockerfile has been started at /root/project/Dockerfile (it differs per session). Examine it and record the base image the build starts FROM — the image:tag exactly as written — to /root/answers/base_image.txt. A commented-out FROM isn't an instruction, and COPY --from= pulls a file from another image without making it the base.
What you'll do
- Record the Dockerfile's base image to /root/answers/base_image.txt
Hands-on lab: you work on a real Linux box in your browser, graded on the machine's actual state.
